I'm Nishan Joti.

I'm Nepali. I grew up carrying roots I'm still learning to understand. I create alone — with a camera, in silence because that's the only place I feel completely myself.

I shoot photos and film because words never come first for me. The image does. The feeling does. I'm always looking for the story behind what's in front of me — the person, the street, the moment that most people miss.

I'm still figuring out who I am. But I know what I believe — that art is the most honest thing a person can make. That your roots are not behind you, they're inside you. That if you go deep enough into yourself, you'll find something that reaches other people.

That's why I create. Not to explain myself. To be found.
